Trial of a Sunday opening

At the end of June 2019 we'll start the second project phase of testing extended opening hours on weekends.
On the following weekends our central library on the university campus will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

During the extended opening hours, the library is available exclusively as a learning space. Loans and returns as well as advice from library staff won't be available.

In January and February 2019, as part of a project and at the request of many students, we extended our opening hours in order to determine the need for a longer opening on Saturdays and Sundays.

The two-year project will take place on ten weekends in 2019 and 2020. The first of four phases comprised 6 weekends in January and February 2019.

During the project phases our central library on the university campus will close at 8 p.m. on Saturdays instead of 6 p.m. On Sundays the library will be open from 10am to 6pm.
