BB Business and Economics (BB11)
About us
The (BB) Business and Economics Library is a branch library of the State and University Library Bremen. The library complements the SuUB's economics collection. It supplies the students and staff of the University of Bremen, and the Department of Economics (FB7) in particular, with academic literature and information resources relating to the fields of economics, business economics, and transport. It is also open to the general public.
Learning and studying
The collection of 30.000 printed books is arranged by subject. Most books can be borrowed, with the exception of loose-leaf publications and special collections on tax law (marked in yellow).
Computers, group study areas and individual workstations are available at the library. Multimedia study spaces can be reserved via the university's Stud.IP platform.
Printing and scanning facilities are available.
Literature research support for economic topics
"Well advised into the weekend!" following the motto we offer consultation by appointment on Fridays online at 2 p.m.

Researching and managing research data
We offer support in researching economic research data or suitable empirical material. We give advise on the identification of company and financial data or relevant data from economics. In addition, we support you in finding a suitable research data archive to store your own collected data and, if necessary, to make it available to the public. Do not hesitate to contact us!
