About us

Located on the campus of the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences (get directions), this academic branch library is open to the public and is tasked with supplying literature mainly to the staff and students of the University. All of the library's holdings are included in SuUB's search engine.

Learning and studying

Individual study spaces are available in the library and gallery area. The library does not provide facilities for group work.

Members of the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences or of other higher education institutions participating in eduroam are welcome to log into the wireless networkt via eduroam. Members of the Universities of Applied Sciences in Bremen and the University Bremen can access our electronic media from off campus via the VPN client of their institution. Members of Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences can find information on this on the page of the Rechenzentrum in ELLI.

A range of learning resources in German and English is also available from the University's eLearning platform (Öffentlicher Bereich - Bibliothek).
