The Physics/Electrical Engineering Library (BB15) is a branch facility of the State and University Library Bremen, and provides students and academic staff of the University of Bremen – and the Department of Physics & Electrical Engineering (FB1) in particular – with both general and specialist literature and information resources on physics and electrical engineering.
With the exception of a small number of books, most of our holdings are kept in open access stacks. In addition to a large collection of circulating books, the library also holds an extensive collection of non-circulating reference materials, handbooks, and journals. Older titles relating to these fields of study are held in the closed stacks at the Central Library.
PC-workstations, conference rooms for group work, and individual workstations are available for your use at the library. Print and scanning stations are also available, enabling users to copy and scan texts, and print documents from the library's PC-workstations or personal flash drives.
We offer a wide range of specialized training seminars, providing users with the opportunity to learn targeted research techniques, including database search methods and reference management skills. We are happy to tailor our seminars to your specific needs. Please contact us to discuss how we could help you best.
